Guidelines

				Bus Operator Accreditation Help Kit Date published: August 2008 The Bus Operator Accreditation Help Kit outlines the requirements for becoming an accredited bus operator in Victoria. It provides essential information for all new and existing bus operators and must be retained by the operator. The Help Kit is available to download from the Bus Operator Accreditation Help Kit webpage.

				Accredited Bus Operator Guideline: Annual inspection by an independent licensed bus tester Date published: April 2008 This Guideline is issued by PTSV to assist accredited bus operators in Victoria. Bus operators are required to ensure that any public passenger vehicle operated by the bus operator has, within the previous 12 months, undertaken and passed an inspection by an independent licensed bus tester (LBT). The purpose of this Guideline is to assist bus operators to determine whether an LBT is an “independent person” for the purposes of the Public Transport Competition Act 1995. 				Statistics @ a Glance: Bus and rail safety occurrence statistics Published monthly Statistics @ a Glance is a report published by PTSV that incorporates data reported to PTSV from accredited train, tram and bus operators.
