Bus accreditation fees

Bus operator accreditation fees are calculated using the formula provided in the Public Transport Competition Regulations 1999 (Vic).

The formula references the term 'fee unit', the value of which is established under the Monetary Units Act 2004 (Vic). The value of a fee unit for the 2009-2010 financial year is $11.69. All fees are exempt from GST.

Application fees for accreditation

For new applicants for accreditation, the application fee payable depends on the type of accreditation sought:

	Scheduled Passenger Service Tour/Charter				$467.60
	Private Bus Service Courtesy Bus Service Hire/drive service				$274.70

Annual fees

	Scheduled Passenger Service Tour/Charter				Annual fee $233.80 (which includes the first bus) Plus $64.30 for each additional bus
	Private Bus Service Courtesy Bus Service Hire/drive service				Annual fee of $157.80 (which includes the first bus) Plus $40.90 for each additional bus

• Mail a cheque together with the invoice to PTSV, payable to the Department of Transport.
• Fill out your credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) details on the invoice and mail or fax to PTSV.
• Payment by electronic transfer can be arranged by contacting PTSV directly.
